Festival of Cultures On Friday, January 27th, from 6.00-8.30pm, Challenger “will go around the world”  and learn about the culture, food, music and traditions of the countries representing the rich diversity of our school. Students will work on their geography skills while sampling food from all around the world. Congratulations to all students on Mathblasters!
Every Kindergarten through 5th grade class reached their class goal for Mathblaster minutes and earned a Pizza Party.  Dec. 2 is the date the Kindergarteners, 2nd Graders and 5th graders will enjoy their Papa John's pizza lunch.  Dec. 9 is the date for the 1st, 3rd and 4th graders.  If your child cannot have pizza, please arrange an alternate lunch for thier date. MathblastersPTA8/4/2011
Mathblasters
MATHBLASTERS is a program where students are encouraged to track their time doing at-home math-related games and activities for a week.  Both on-line games (with a limit of 2 hrs daily) and board or card games count towards a daily total.  Homework and classroom activities do not count toward this program.  Students will bring home a MATHBLASTERS tally card before it begins on November 2 .  Each day an adult should initial the time the students have spent doing these activities outside of school.  The tally cards will be returned to school each day from Nov. 3 - Nov. 10th.  ... read full article
