Challenger PTA Comet Color Run

PTA's ONLY Fundraiser for the year is the Comet Color Run on Friday, May 3rd.

Golden Acorn & Outstanding Educator

Nominate PTA Volunteers for the Golden Acorn Award and teachers or staff for the Outstanding Educator Award.

Details and forms can be found on the Golden Acorn page. Nominations are due to the PTA mailbox across from the office by Friday, February 15th

Recipients will be announced at the short ceremony on Friday, April 19th at 3:50pm in the MPR. Please join us in celebrating our fabulous volunteers and educators.


PTA Night at the Seattle Mariners

Join us for PTA Night at the Seattle Mariners on Saturday, May 18th at 7:10 pm. Discount Tickets are available through the PTA and can be purchased for students, parents, and staff at Challenger.

Yearbook Orders

Yearbooks are on sale now!

In June students will receive their yearbook and get the chance to sign each others' books. Kids love seeing their photo in the yearbook, so be sure to order one!

Parent Wiser is the Parent Education Classes in the Issaquah School District provided by the Issaquah PTSA.

    LIKE is a documentary about the impact of social media on our lives, and the effects of technology on the brain. The goal of this film is to inspire and help equip us to teach ourselves and our children to self-regulate. Social media is a tool and social platforms are a place to connect, share, and care…but is that what’s really happening?
  • Hidden in Plain Sight
    Would you see the signs of youth alcohol or drug use in your home? Looks can be very deceiving - especially if you don't know what to look for. Come to a Hidden in Plain Sightexhibit and learn what to look for and what to do if you find something.
  • Teen Vaping
    Smoking is out, but is vaping any different?  Find out why the FDA and American Medical Association is calling vaping / juuling an “urgent public health epidemic”; explore the impact vaping has on our young people and how parents can help.
  • Challenge Success
    Reduce Academic Stress without Sacrificing Achievement

    Based on the Well-Balanced Student by CHALLENGE SUCCESS, a Stanford University think-tank of educators, psychologists and parenting professionals, speaker Mary HofstedtSchool Program Director for Challenge Success, shares research based insights on how to reduce academic stress without sacrificing achievement.

     


Challenger Angel Program
The Angel Program at Challenger Elementary provides a helping hand to students who need extra support with basic necessities.  The program is strictly confidential, both sponsors (known as “Angels”) and students remain anonymous. Click here to learn more about the program and to sign up as an Angel. 

Karate West Parents Night Out

December 7, 2018 ♦  January 4th ♦ February 1st ♦ March 8th ♦ April 5th ♦ May 3rd ♦  June 7th

The cost is $35 per child and 100% of all proceeds from this event will go to the PTA!
