Interested in welcoming new families to Challenger that come from another culture or country? Do you like meeting new people and helping them navigate a new school and a new culture and/or new language at the same time? We are looking for a cultural liaison to work closely with our PTA president and Principal to better serve the needs and challenges of families that are coming to Challenger from a different place! We have families from all over the world and our students currently speak about 25 different languages. Preferably, we would have volunteers from several different cultures sign up so that we could connect you to other school families that share the same language and culture in order to help in this transition. The time commitment would involve a meeting with the principal for a kick-off and then on-going support as needed. If interested, please sign up under the Volunteer link.
